Amish Country – Exploring Lancaster, Pa

We visited beautiful Lancaster Pennsylvania recently.   From the rolling hills to the natural vistas of this farming community, this area simply took my breath away.  I learned so much about the Amish culture from my wife, Angela.  She is really into reading Beverly Lewis books.  Beverly Lewis has focused her novel series on this area and its uniqueness.    The Amish are a very nice people, although they do not like having their photo taken.  We had to sneak images by using our 200mm lens and photographing them mostly from our car.  Lancaster, Pa is also  know for having the highest concentration of covered bridges.  I hope you enjoy the photographs.
